What Happened?
GOBARdhan was launched on 1 October 2026 after Cabinet approval in August. The scheme has an outlay of ₹23,731 crore for FY 2026-27 to FY 2035-36 and brings assured offtake, a pricing framework, capital assistance, pipeline infrastructure, credit guarantee support and an ecosystem challenge fund into one framework.
