What Happened?
The Ministry of Health and Family Welfare released operational guidelines covering ambulance classification, staffing, equipment, medicines, training, quality assurance, maintenance and grievance redressal. They provide for Integrated Command and Dispatch Centres, GPS tracking, digital dispatch, structured triage and integration with the 112 emergency helpline.
