What Happened?
On 31 July, the Cabinet approved continuation of PM-KISAN. The scheme continues to transfer Rs 6,000 per eligible beneficiary per year in three equal instalments. The approved period is 2026-27 to 2030-31, with around 9.5 crore beneficiaries.
