What Happened?
On 15 December 2025, MoSPI released the November 2025 labour-market indicators. The overall LFPR for persons aged 15 years and above reached 55.8%, WPR reached 53.2%, and the unemployment rate declined to 4.7%. Female labour-force and worker-participation indicators also showed changes, particularly in rural areas.
